The Needs and Rights of Communities in Balgaddy
19 April 2018

Balgaddy is an area well known to community workers and service providers for its severe marginalisation and problematic built environment. This report The Needs and Rights of Communities in Balgaddy draws together the latest statistical data, and the views of residents expressed in a community survey, to present this comprehensive picture of an area in desperate need of investment and state intervention. Key among its recommendations is the need to develop community activity and sufficient accessible community space to enable this to develop. The research was carried out by The North Clondalkin Safety Forum and The Rights Platform.
